The petitioner seeks bail in Chakai P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016 under section 307 and other sections of the IPC, under sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act and under sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of the U.A.P. Act. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 10.04.2017 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 11911 of 2017 with an observation that the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining one year in custody. The petitioner is in jail for more than 14 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner, namely, Sanjay Marandi @ Motilal Marandi @ Ranvir Rana is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39369 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Jamui in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016/U.A.P. Case No. 26 of 2016, subject to the condition that one of the bailor shall be father of the petitioner.
