Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 25 (1-b) a and 26 of the Arms Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is that on search police has recovered arms and ammunitions from his possession. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody since 6.4.2015, i.e., for the last more than one year. It is alleged that one carbine and two cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. There is no compliance of Section 100 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial
