The petitioner seeks bail in Gurua P.S. Case No. 40/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The prayer of bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 20.04.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. 7505/2015, but the trial has not yet been concluded. The trial court was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months, but even after lapse of one year nine months from the date of rejection of bail petition, the trial has not yet been concluded. Petitioner is in jail since 25.07.2014. Petitioner has already remained in jail for about two and half years and petitioner is handicapped.
