The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 342, 323, 307, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition with regard to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66612 of 2021(3) dt.15-06-2022 2/3 petitioner No. 4 namely Riyaj @ Riyaj Alam since he has been arrested.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the petition with respect to petitioner No. 4 is dismissed as withdrawn.

It is alleged that these petitioners surrounded the brother of the informant and started making assault and when other members of the family came to save him, they were also assaulted by the accused persons. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that in the background of some land dispute, this false case has been lodged against the petitioners. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. The brother of the informant has sustained simple injuries. There is counter version of the occurrence also and petitioners' side received grievous injuries. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedent.
