This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Mainatand P.S. Case No.243 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 137(2) & 96 of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 8 of the POCSO Act. 3.

The petitioner is accused of kidnapping the minor daughter of the informant. He is in custody since 03.02.2025.

The victim girl in her statement recorded under section 180 of the B.N.S.S. has stated that she got married

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57723 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/2 with the petitioner and they are staying at Jaipur as husband and wife.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District & Additional Sessions Judge, VII -cumSpecial Judge, POCSO, West Champaran at Bettiah/concerned Court below, in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No.243 of 2024.
