The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 15.06.2017 in Daraunda P.S. Case No.110/2017 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 308 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30/38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on false accusation of recovery of about 5 liters of Indian Make Foreign Liquor from the house of the petitioner, the petitioner has been made accused. He submits that the petitioner has remained in custody for sufficient time.

No.39587 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner, namely, Saukat Ali @ Sawakat Ali be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Daraunda P.S. Case No.110/2017.
