The petitioner is in custody since 22.1.2015 in connection with Case No.C-III 17/2014 registered for the offences under Section 47A of the Excise Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recovery of liquor was made from the Gumti situated at a vacant land of Umashankar Singh and not from the possession of the petitioner.
Considering the aforementioned submissions and the period of custody and also the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand)
