The petitioner by filing this writ petition seeks quashing of Annexure-4 by which the S.P. Muzaffarpur inflicted punishment that the petitioner shall be placed at the bottom of his pay scale for three years. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order is appellable, but the petitioner has not exhausted the alternative remedy. The petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition, so that he may file appeal before the appropriate authority within two months. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to appeal before the appropriate authority within two months.
