2. Despite the order passed on 07.03.2024 directing the respondent nos. 4 and 5 to file counter affidavit, today on call, again prayer has been made on behalf of the State counsel.

3. For two years, despite service of copies, no reply is on record and it can be adjourned again with a cost against the State but learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petition preferred by him before the office of the Circle Officer, Patna Sadar way-back in the year 2021 (Annexure -2 to the petition) is disposed of.

4. It is surprising that neither concerned respondent passes any order nor files a counter affidavit and the Collector, Patna should take note of the fact.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Circle Officer, Patna Sadar to dispose of the application of the petitioner (Annexure-2 to the writ petition) within a period of three weeks from the date the petitioner serves a copy of the order before the said Officer.
