JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-01-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 17.7.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No.25778 of 2017 with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial. From the report received from trial court it appears that the case is pending for hearing on the petition under Section 216 Cr.P.C. and trial is likely to be concluded within four months. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no material against the petitioner and it is a case of self suicidal and petitioner is in custody for more than one year. Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant.

Having heard both sides and in view of the fact that earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner has been rejected on merit

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59879 of 2017 (5) dt.24-01-2018 2/2 and secondly the case is fixed for defence and it is up to the petitioner to get the trial expedited, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail is rejected.
