2 The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No 62C of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. 3 As per allegation, the complainant Meena Devi, who is the wife of the petitioner, has levelled allegation against the petitioner and her in-laws of torturing and committing atrocities for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs 50,000/- cash.
4 Learned counsel for the petitioner, by drawing my attention towards Annexure 3, has submitted that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57076 of 2023(5) dt.27-02-2024 2/2 complainant has solemnized her marriage with another person named as Raju Bin. The first wife of Raju Bin, namely, Sita Devi has lodged Complaint Case No 175 of 2022 in the Court of ACJM, Bagaha, West Champaran which shows that the complainant Meena Devi is also accused in that case. Sita Devi had made allegation that her husband Raju Bin has solemnized marriage with the complainant Meena Devi.
5 Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on his furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned JM, First Class, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with Trial No 1284 of 2022 arising out of Complaint Case No 62C of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of Cr P C.
