The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
As per the prosecution case, 202.68 litres of liquor was recovered and the accused persons including the petitioner were taken into custody.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 03.08.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Co-accused, Rahul Kumar Yadav, has been

Having heard learned counsel for the parities and taking into consideration the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, having remained in custody for eight months and grant of bail to the above-named co-accused, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Case No.-III-288 of 2021 on his furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Siwan.
