Mr.Government Pleader 19 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-09-2024 Heard Mr. Arinjay Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned GP 19 for the State.

2. Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:- "That the petitioner craves indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction, directing the respondents authorities for payment of arrears of salary from 01.01.1994 to 28.02.2003(9 years 2 months), from

Patna High Court CWJC No.13773 of 2024(2) dt.10-09-2024 2/3 01.03.2006 to 30.11.2007 (1 years 8 month), from 01.01.2009 to 28.02.2009 and Month of June 2010, September 2010 November 2012, February 2013 and February 2017 with interest @ 18% to the petitioner which has been not paid without any fault on the part of the petitioner and only due to latches on the part of the respondents who did not sent the report before appropriate authority within time.

And/or For any other releif(s) as your Lordships may deem fit and proper as per the facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present writ petition on merit, the petitioner desires to file a comprehensive representation before respondent no.2, the Director, Urdu Directorate, Government of Bihar, Patna for consideration of his grievance.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in the present writ petition, I find it proper to direct the Director, Urdu Directorate, Government of Bihar, Patna to call for the service particulars of the petitioner from all the places of his posting in different districts and redress the grievance of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law, considering the fact that

Patna High Court CWJC No.13773 of 2024(2) dt.10-09-2024 3/3 petitioner has already retired on 31.12.2018 and claim of the petitioner has not been considered till date, for which, he has been forced to file the present writ petition.
