Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 47 (A) of the Excise Act.

66.5 liters Indian made foreign liquor kept in several bottles are said to have been recovered from the roof of the house of petitioner for which petitioner was arrested and sent to jail custody on 6.5.2016 and since then he is languishing in jail custody. Petitioner has been detained for violation of provision of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate III, Rosera District Samastipur in
