The only grievance that is raised in this writ petition is that as against the claim raised by the petitioner of Rs.1,49,000/- for the work executed, he has been paid a lower amount of Rs.1,21,570/- vide Annexure-A.

A counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 and 6 reflects that the claim raised by the petitioner has been paid through Cheque No.225994 for the amount of Rs.1,21,570/- after the mandatory deductions. Since the component of the mandatory deduction is not explained in the counter affidavit hence the dispute continues.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4806 of 2013 (3) dt.25-04-2016 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the dispute raised, I am not persuaded to keep this writ petition pending. The petitioner, if so advised, may represent before the authority concerned to supply the breakup of the payment details and any such application filed by the petitioner before the Executive Engineer, Bagmati Division, Sheohar requesting for the details of payment/deduction made, the description of which is present at paragraphs 8 and 9 of the counter affidavit, would be supplied to him, within a fortnight from the filing of such application.

The writ petition is disposed of.
