2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 395, 412 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The Superintendent of Police, Samastipur has filed his counter affidavit.

4. As per the prosecution case, Rs. 6209165/- was looted from the Branch of Central Bank of India. Rs. 28 Lakhs has been recovered from the petitioner who has made extra judicial confession that it is the looted amount form the Bank.

5. The petitioner is accused in six more cases of similar and serious nature. He is in jail since 13.12.2022.

6. Considering the materials available on record

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61464 of 2023(8) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner though co-accused has been granted bail. This application for regular bail is dismissed.

7. The Superintendent of Police, Samastipur is directed to get the trial of the case concluded at the earliest.
