The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
As per the First Information Report, the police has apprehended the motorcycle, from there two persons were arrested and from them 60 liters country made liquor was recovered. The persons who were arrested are sons of the petitioner and petitioner has no connection with the aforesaid liquor, but he has been made accused on account of the fact that motorcycle has been registered in his name.
Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56400 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2 /2 event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner, namely, Raju Sah, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-VII-Cum-Special Judge (Excise), Aurangabad in connection with N.T.P.C.
