JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-09-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the complainant is languishing in custody since 12.6.2016 in a complaint case in which process has been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken under Section 498A and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The basic accusation is of torture for non fulfillment of dowry demands.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner admits his marriage with the complainant and the investigation has already concluded.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41395 of 2016 (2) dt.21-09-2016 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Nawada in connection with Complaint Case No. 552 of 2014.
