03-10-2016 Heard Sri Pankaj Kumar Sinha, learned counsel, who was assisted by Sri Kamal Kishore Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 17-02-2016 in Munger Kotwali P.S. Case No. 51 of 2016 registered for offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act, 1959, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on false accusation of recovery of one country-made pistol with two live cartridges, the petitioner was arrested. He submits that though petitioner was arrested in the month of February, 2016, till date, no sufficient progress has taken place in the case. In view of nature of accusation and period of custody,
