The petitioner namely Suresh Poddar is in custody since 15.07.2016 in Morkahi P.S. Case No.72 of 2016 under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

According to the prosecution case, from the custody of this petitioner, 17 bottles, each containing 400 ml. country made liquor, was recovered.

Considering the nature of allegation and period of detention, I direct that the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000(Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the
