The petitioner seeks bail in Banka P.S. Case No. 49/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 498A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is father-in-law of the informant. The informant made very specific allegation against her husband and the petitioner that they took her inside the room and on the order of the petitioner the husband of the informant assaulted her and also poured kerosene oil. The husband has already been enlarged on bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 34063/2014. The petitioner is in jail since 13.04.2015.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29962 of 2015 (2) dt.11-08-2015 2/2 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge V, Banka, in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 49/2014, corresponding to S.Tr. No. 130/2015.
