In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No.265 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 494, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation has been made against the petitioners that they used to torture the victim for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

The petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the above-named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Begusarai Town P.S.
