The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 419, 420, 467 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The Civil Surgeon-cum- Chief Medical Officer, Purnea lodged a case against the petitioner that he is not a qualified doctor but he was prescribing allopathic medicines and thereby was cheating the patients.

It is submitted that petitioner has got a degree of alternative medicine and he is duly registered and there was no circular of the State Government that the petitioner cannot prescribe allopathic medicine. Nobody has come forward to say that he was cheated by the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36247 of 2015 (2) dt.24-08-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in K. Hat P.S. Case No. 381 of 2015.
