The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 175/2016 dated 08.10.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. 3 kg. and 700 gm ganja is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 09.10.2016 and he does not have any criminal antecedent. Taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner, the quantum of the narcotics recovered and the fact that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50191 of 2017 (3) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 175/2016.
