1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.I. Quash and set aside the Order of the District Magistrate dated 26.06.2024 and memo no. 3175 dated 28.06.2024, being arbitrary, illegal, and violative of the principles of natural justice. II. Direct the respondents to re-evaluate the petitioner's application for arms license, submitted in the year 2016, and to dispose of the same expeditiously in light of the facts and circumstances of the case.

Direct the respondents to refrain from harassing and humiliating the petitioner in the matter of grant of the arms license, recognizing that the petitioner fulfills all the criteria prescribed under the relevant laws and regulations for the grant of an arms license."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 26.06.2024, passed by the District Magistrate, Siwan, by filing appropriate appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) sonal/- U
