19-04-2017 Seen the show cause furnished by the learned P.O. The show cause is accepted with warning and office is directed to communicate the same.

Also seen the letter communicated vide memo no.304 dated 25.02.2017 by Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna. Mere directing the Officer-in-charge to produce the witness will not serve the purpose. The effort taken up during course of investigation is to fructify by having proper trial in accordance with law and for that, witnesses are to be examined. That being so, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna will endeavour to have presence of witnesses so that trial be concluded at an earliest. So far plea of petitioner is concerned, the case is of the year 1996 and his appearance has been procured only on 19.09.2015.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44341 of 2016 (7) dt.19-04-2017 That being so, prayer for bail is rejected. Office to communicate the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna and will seek compliance report.
