Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 368 and 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be father of accused Sonu Kumar against whom victim specifically stated that she was kidnapped and raped by Sonu Kumar. So far as the petitioner is concerned, nothing has been stated by the victim in her statement recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in Jainagar P.S.
