Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the dispute between parties has been resolved through the process of mediation and the terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them contained in mediator's report dated 5.7.2023. As per the terms of settlement, grandfather of Rachna Kumari, namely, Chandeshwar Rai will execute registered sale deed in favour of her granddaughter Rachna Kumari for her legal entitlement of her share as two kathas of land which is inherited by the father of Rachna Kumari Late Manjeet Roy. Considering the agreement made on 5.7.2023 between

In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioners, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in Raghopur Police Station Case No. 200 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as also the following condition:- Grandfather of Rachna Kumari, namely, Chandeshwar Rai will execute registered sale deed in favour of her granddaughter Rachna Kumari for her legal entitlement of her share as two kathas of land which is inherited by the father of Rachna Kumari Late Manjeet Roy within a period of eight weeks from today.

A copy of the said sale deed shall be submitted by the petitioners while furnishing bail bonds within the stipulated period of eight weeks.
