2. The petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2016 in connection with Tr. No. 165 of 2016 arising out of Isuapur P.S. Case No. 03 of 2006 for the offences alleged under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is submitted that petitioner had been granted bail earlier and had been well represented before the learned Court below. However, counsel for the petitioner failed to appear in the Court when the case was called out, as a result of which bail bond of the petitioner was cancelled by the concerned Court on 01.06.2009 and thereafter petitioner had surrendered on 08.08.2016 in the court below which has led the petitioner to file the present bail petition.

4. Considering that the petitioner failed to honour the terms of the bail bond and no satisfactory reason has been stated for delay of several years since the bail bond was cancelled on 01.06.2009 for taking remedial steps, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner.
