The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Gopalpur (Rangra) P. S. Case No. 229 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 308 and 504/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation made against the petitioner that he assaulted with iron rod on the head of grand father of the informant as a result of which he sustained grievous injury, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64690 of 2018(2) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) kanchan/- U T
