The petitioner is in custody in Kahalgaon P.S.Case No. 410 of 2014 (S.T.No. 51 of 2015) registered under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur.
The allegation against the petitioner and other coaccused is of killing the daughter of the informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 31.08.2014. The case has been committed to the Court of Sessions. There is no eye witness to the alleged occurrence. Merely on the basis of suspicion, the petitioner has

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the FIR and is the husband of the deceased. There is no case instituted by him on the death of the deceased. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial, preferably within a period of nine months as the case has already been committed to the Court of Sessions.
