JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 20-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section354(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 2007-2016 on the accusation that he dashed the informant by his motorcycle and made filthy comments against him. Submission on behalf of petitioner is that the informant and one Shabana Khatoon were quarrelling in college campus and the petitioner intervened into the quarrel and, favoured the Shabana Khatoon, which caused annoyance to the informant, who subsequently, lodged the present case with exaggerated story.
