Petitioner is accused in connection with Buniyadganj P.S. Case No. 128 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 506 of the I.P.C. and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation is of cruelty and torture for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner has neither demanded any dowry nor committed any act of cruelty to his wife. He is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2016.
