The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 30 (a) and 38(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 18 litres of foreign liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 20.06.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37760 of 2017(3) dt.25-08-2017 2/2 Judge (Excise), Lakhisarai in connection with Kiul/GRP P.S. Case No. 131 of 2017.
Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in similar nature of case then the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bond.
