2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dariyapur P.S. Case No. 550 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is accused of committing loot of gold chain and mobile phone after assaulting the victim lady.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and the petitioner is in custody since 09.02.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that petitioner has 18 criminal antecedents.

6. Considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner and also considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
