This application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner for directing the official respondents to provide suitable police

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1320 of 2019 dt.17-09-2019 2/2 protection to the petitioner as he apprehends threat to life at the hands of private respondents.

In the opinion of this Court, threat perception on any person can be assessed by the authorities in the administrative department first.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the State that there is District Level Security Committee in each district for the purpose of evaluating threat perception and requirement of police protection to any person. 5.
