The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 62 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR is registered against four unknown persons, who snatched Rs. 4000/-, voter I-Card, Pass Book of SBI, Samsung mobile and motorcycle from the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in this case on the basis of confessional statement made by one Bijendra Mehta @ Digga

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48252 of 2017 (3) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 Mehta, except confessional statement there is no any incriminating material against the petitioner. It has been further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person, namely, Manish Kumar has already been granted bail by this Hon'ble Court, as contained in Annexure-3. It has further been submitted that he is in custody since 19.07.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Uda, Kishunganj, Madhepura, in connection with Puraini P.S.
