The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in connection with Mansoorchak P.S. Case No. 44 of 2018 registered for the offence under Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 has prayed for grant bail in the event of his arrest or surrender.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. He submits that false allegation was made as if petitioner had concealed huge quantity of Indian make foreign liquor whereas
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61663 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 petitioner does not reside in his village.
Besides hearing, I have perused the F.I.R. and after going through the same I am of the opinion that it is not a case for grant of anticipatory bail.
The petition stands dismissed.
