SONI SHRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 05-08-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case is based upon the complaint petition in which allegation of demand of dowry and torture has been made. The petitioner is the husband.

4. Vide order dated 10.01.2024, with consent of both the parties, this case had been sent to the Patna High Court Mediation Center for resolution of the dispute. It would appear from the mediation report, annexing the memorandum of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66024 of 2021(4) dt.05-08-2025 2/2 agreement dated 08.02.2024, passed in Mediation Proceeding No.914 of 2023, that the parties have agreed to settle the dispute amicably and an amount of Rs.3 lacs had been fixed as one time settlement between the parties.

5. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the entire payment, as per the terms agreed, has already been paid to the opposite party no.2 and the same has been brought on record by way of supplementary affidavit.

6. Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 also agrees to the same and has no objection if the anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner.

7. In such view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Complaint Case No.106 (C) of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C./Section 482 (2) B.N.S.S.
