2. The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 24 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation against the petitioner along with others is of killing the daughter of the informant due to nonfulfillment of dowry demand.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is the married Sister-in-law of the deceased. He submitted that the petitioner has no concern
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64251 of 2024(3) dt.16-12-2024 2/2 with mess and business of the deceased as well as her husband and also she lives separately from them. He further submitted that the other co-accused (father-in-law of the deceased) has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 28.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59759 of 2024. Moreover, the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M.- 1st Class, (East) Muzaffarpur in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 24 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Arish/- U T
