The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 70.560 litres foreign liquor were recovered from the Alto car. The petitioner is said to be the owner of the said car. It is urged that he was arrested in Hajipur Town P.S. Case No.584/17 and remanded in this case on 23.08.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46760 of 2017(2) dt.21-09-2017 2/2 satisfaction of the Adll. Sessions Judge-Ii-cum- Special Judge, Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 481/16.

Further, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in similar nature of case then the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bond.
