2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, all the FIR named accused persons including the petitioner entered into the house of the informant and assaulted his wife with knife and lathi, who died during treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is inordinate delay of 42 days in lodging the present F.I.R. The allegation is general and omnibus. Some of the similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court, vide orders annexed as Annexure 4 to the petition. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and is in custody since 21.06.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - 1, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda in connection with Rahui P.S. Case No. 464 of 2020.
