JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-12-2016 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 10.11.2015 in connection with Bhawanipur P.S. case No.34 of 2015 pending in the court of A.C.J.M., Purnea with the direction to the trial court to conclude the trial preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order.

Vide letter No.1125 dated 9.12.2016 it has been submitted by the trial court that out of eight prosecution witnesses two prosecution witnesses have already been examined and only six witnesses are yet to be examined. Hence, further time be granted for concluding the trial.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42761 of 2015 (4) dt.21-12-2016 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the trial court is granted further period of six months for concluding the trial from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The District Magistrate, Purnea and the Superintendent of Police, Purnea are directed to ensure that the remaining six prosecution witnesses are produced on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period.
