Petitioner is in custody in connection with Kahalgaon (Ghogha) P.S. Case No. 340 of 2019 for the offence under section 30 (a), 56 (d) of Prohibition Excise Act and Section 188, 290 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 15 liters of Mahua liquor was seized from a motorcycle.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 7.6.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52177 of 2019(2) dt.22-08-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge Excise, Bhagalpur, in connection with Kahalgaon (Ghogha) P.S. Case No. 340 of 2019.
