The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Purnea Sadar (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 57 of 2018 dated 14.02.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 332, 337, 427, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners are alleged to have taken part in blockading the traffic on a road in protest against the death of a pedestrian.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in fact the petitioners were bystanders and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64006 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 they have wrongly been implicated in the present case. The petitioners are persons of clean antecedents and similarly situated accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by a bench of this Court.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Purnea Sadar (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 57 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
