The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 95 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 03.03.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 39940 of 2021 with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail, if no substantial progress takes place in the trial within six months.

This Court vide order dated 07.12.2022 had called for a report from the trial court with respect to the stage of the trial and in compliance of the aforesaid order, learned Additional Sessions Judge-X, Darbhanga has submitted a report dated 19.12.2022 contained in Letter No. 888/2022.
