The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chanan P.S. Case No. 10 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 385 and 435 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 16/18(B)/20 of the U.A.P. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner figured in the FIR but source of information has not been disclosed. It is alleged that the petitioner and others burnt the tractor and also demanded extortion.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegations made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
