This is an application for bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 236 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 307 and 326A of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation as per FIR is that informant performed her inter-caste marriage and her family members do not like this and further allegation is that accused persons came to the shop of informant and assaulted her by throwing acid. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that most of the injuries are superficial in nature and opinion of one injury is kept reserved. Further submission is that now compromise petition has been filed in the court below and moreover the informant and accused persons are family members and they are in custody since 3.7.2017.

Having heard both sides and in view of facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49631 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Raniganj P.S.Case No. 236 of 2017, subject to the conditions as follows : (1) One of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of the court concerned, (2) Petitioners will co-operate in trial and appear on each and every date in court and on failure to appear on two consecutive dates without any genuine ground or without permission of court, their bail bonds shall be cancelled, (3) Petitioner will not induce any witness and tamper with the evidence, otherwise their bail bonds shall be cancelled.
