The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Khagaria (Chitragupta Nagar) Police Station Case No. 320 of 2016 (G.R. Case No. 1126 of 2016) registered for offences punishable under sections 323, 504 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant is a Junior Engineer of Electricity Department. It is alleged that when the informant reached at the place of this petitioner to read meter, this petitioner obstructed, abused and assaulted him. The petitioner has denied the said allegation and has stated that he has been implicated with ulterior motive. The petitioner has already deposited arrears of bill vide Annexure-4 of the application and allegation of assault is omnibus against this petitioner.

No.63737 of 2018(3) dt.17-12-2018 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation, facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed and he, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, is directed to be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Chitragupta Nagar) Police Station Case No. 320 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438 Cr. PC and also subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immovable property within the jurisdiction of the concerned Court. The petitioner will not induce any witness or tamper with the evidence. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
