1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs, order or direction Commanding the respondents to pay the benefit of ACP (Assured Carrer Progression) and MACP (Modified Assured Career Progression) by way of time bound promotional benefit which has admittedly not been paid to the petitioner during the entire service tenure and till the date of retirement

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
